Steps for Solving Issues
Step 1:
- The member talks with the AR(s) to try and solve the issue at the lowest level [The lowest level is at the site]
- If the member wants to talk to someone besides the AR(s), the member may talk with an individual of their choosing in local leadership.
- If it is determined after Step 1 and/or Step 2 that a grievance needs to be filed, the member, the Association president and/or vice president shall follow the agreed upon grievance process. The Association Executive Director shall be notified and included in the grievance process.
- If the issue is a legal matter, the process is channeled through the Association Executive Director. Do not get involved in a legal situation.
